1. Tidings of success make this feast everlasting,
And good fortune stands before it in Egypt upright.

2. And his solid dignified house - its foundation
Pillars for it are raised up into the horizons.

3. And his lofty horoscope indicates that
He will accomplish noble deeds with determination.

4. And he will spread in the lands the lights of his rule,
With his vigilance, while others in neglect are sleeping.

5. And he will overwhelm the best of nations with kindness -
For God her heart by nature is ever yearning.

6. And he will strive for what is most beneficial for her,
With wisdom - grateful hymns for him keep chanting.

7. And he will relieve her breast with knowledge -
For him her turbans and crowns keep bowing.

8. And he forgives the sinner with a clemency that
In all things keeps showing us clear signs.

9. And he follows, like Ishmael, the way of Muhammad,
Ali, and Abraham in what is fitting.

10. And he races in the track of every virtue
With an agile mind none roaming can outpace.

11. And he proclaims the clear truth against transgressors,
Nor wavers until even the stubborn relent.

12. And he attains abundant praise - for which
We face him, praying and fasting, to requite.

13. And odes are presented to his sublimity -
With them ring doves in celebration recite.

14. And Majdi lauds him on the feast, chronicling
Tidings of success make this feast everlasting.
