1. The suspicious one is infected with evil
And has no cure for illnesses
١. مريضُ الظنّ موبوءٌ بسوءٍ
وليس له من الأدواءِ طِبُّ
2. He does wrong to those closest to him
Though they have no fault in what he suspects
٢. يسيءُ لأقربِ الأحبابِ منه
ومالَهُمُ بما قد ظنَّ ذَنْبُ
