1. O You who helps those seeking aid,
If You do not help us, who can help?

2. We have no other Lord as helper,
Except You, O Lord of all servants.

3. Among us are little children suckling,
Among us are old men kneeling.

4. So too beasts grazing,
Yet to all, You are the sole intent.

5. If you are the rain for the obedient,
Then who rains on the sinners?

6. The mercy of the Best of the merciful
Is unconditional, unrestrained.

7. O Lord, You said "Ask forgiveness
From your Lord and He'll forgive."

8. The rain-laden clouds will come
Watering Your servants and lands.

9. The mercy of my Lord encompassed
Everything gathered.

10. Its ways never disrupted
Nor ceased from increasing.

11. If none hopes for Your gift
Except those obedient to Your guidance,

12. In whom can those seek refuge
Who have strayed from You, O Guide?

13. O Lord, treat us however
You are most deserving, as

14. You've accustomed such bounty.
Your servants, O Most Generous.

15. The affliction of trials has befallen us.
Distress has narrowed us.

16. All this is due to our sins,
Which veiled the heart's perception.

17. So O Most Bounteous of the bounteous,
And O Most Merciful of the merciful,

18. Rain down, rain down the heavenly rain
On the earth - it is where we rest.

19. The intercession of Mustafa, his grandfather, O Bounteous One,
For he is most kind and merciful toward us.

20. From the ancient knowledge,
Existence itself emanates.

21. May Allah send blessings on him
As long as heavenly rain flows,

22. And both continue to encompass
Every plain, hill, and valley.

23. And on his Family and Companions,
His and their followers and party -

24. They are rains of his clouds
Guiding creation aright.
