1. In Your name, O Allah, my Lord, I begin
And by the light of supplication I seek guidance

2. Pleading through the Intercessor
Of the Basin, the Banner, and Virtue

3. Originator of existence, ocean of endless bounty
Joiner of witnessing, the Chosen One Muhammad

4. I raise through humility, I suffice being an Arab
The conscience of my condition, as victory opened through us

5. Seeking forgiveness I came at dawn
Seeking rain of endless grace

6. I call upon You by the ancient Light
And Your flowing, great, eternal secret

7. The First, the Eternal in existence
In the unseen and witnessed realms

8. By Your most sacred, most High essence
And by attributes of glorious majesty

9. By what they possess for us of manifestations
In the highest spheres for those brought near

10. Of the secret overflow of the esoteric and the manifest
And the light of the absent, vanished and present

11. And by Your loftiest, celestial Supreme Name
And each letter displayed through the Names

12. Through manifestation of Names in revelation
And display of intimation in initiation

13. Through the station of annihilation in the lees of union
And the spring of extinction at the river of subsistence

14. By the Divine, the Absolute, the human
By the loftiness of the tranquility of the Ark

15. By the world of spirits, by the angels
Those who spread the darkness of the thick night

16. By the scene of His annihilation in His essence
I bear witness there was nothing with Allah

17. And by His manifestation He came to manifest His effect
From my essence I heard and saw Him

18. By the discourse that began from us to us
Its ancient narration became verified

19. And it was the seal of the beginning, the beginning
And the first and the end of the end

20. The Comprehensive, the Disposer, and the Barzakh
Whose ordained unseen secrets nothing abolishes

21. By the night of ascension and lofty ascent
By the bliss of speech in intimacy

22. As two bow-lengths drawn near, He approached
From the Lote-Tree saying "It is I"

23. By an eye-witnessing vision of beauty
Exalted and exalted in the Highest Station, for example

24. By the secret of what passed in that conversation
Primordial in the encounter and incident

25. By the grace of what He brought to us
Blessed upon us as it is over us

26. By the signs, the seven oft-repeated
A light He showed us and the oneness of the seven

27. By the sun of truth from a sky shining
Obliterating the darkness of evil, tearing it

28. By all who are guided by its light
And all who followed the collective guidance

29. Especially the Truthful, the second of two
Specifically distinguished by intimate covenants

30. From the wellspring of nearness and intimacy
Thus obtaining the most eminent of caliphates

31. By the Comprehensive Farooq in his gnosis
The abode of truth upon his tongue

32. By the long-lived Uthman of faith
His companion in the chambers of Paradise

33. And the son of his uncle Ali the agreed
The Desired, the Yemeni Sword, the chosen

34. By the two finest, most excellent of them
The basil of His meadow, the scent of prestige

35. And the rest of the honorable, righteous companions
And those graced by His outstanding merits

36. Those who perfected love of Him and the firm rope
Knowing the game lies in the belly of the dust

37. By each organized follower in their path
And inhaler of the seal of their musk

38. And every adherent to their way
And collector through them of types of good

39. And Abu Hanifa the Numan
Peer of the garden of excellence, the proficient

40. By Malik and Shafi'i, excellent
Are those who follow them and from them take

41. And by Ahmad of authentic chain
And each firm scholar striving

42. By what they clarified for us of a path
Raising its wayfarers to the stars' heights

43. By my master succor of the zealous, Jilani
Lion of the law, of witnessed scene

44. By Badawi, Rifa'i, and Dasuqi
Keep safe whom from faults were sanctified

45. By Mahyiddin son of Hatim
And the best seal of the opening of the unseen

46. By the knower Abdul-Ghani of Nablus
Garden of gifts, bloom of the opening's bounty

47. By the Pole of the Elect and the Knowers
Mustafa whose ways are exposed

48. Our teacher, the Bukri, of realities
Who picked the flowers of ways

49. Whose merits I hope for through the wilds
May he water his spring and raise it

50. From litanies he brought, which delighted
The breast of one lowly, made happy

51. By his perfection my pillar whom
Rent me by his guidance, the exceptional path

52. By every wayfarer upon his way
And taker of his covenants of allegiance

53. Especially the successor Hafni
After him none opposed his caliphate

54. By all the folk of lofty ways
People of awe between nearness and remoteness

55. Help me, my God, by facilitation
And truthfulness and wayfaring upon the path

56. And send down, Lord, to Your servants rain of gifts
To wear the garb of guidance and be guided

57. And show him the beauties of unveilings
As the brides of dawn appear

58. Expose him, my God, his inwardness and veils
Until he sees by theophany his nearness

59. And beholds with the eye without a screen
And to the zealous moves like stars

60. From his heart unlock the cage of his chest
That he may find the essence of beauty in cages

61. And confer upon him, Lord, deliverance
From the association with pure sincerity

62. And bless him, Lord, with ease
And gentleness, O Lord, in ordainment

63. And make him tread the paths of virtues
And distinguish him by avoiding the path of vices

64. And preserve him in the turns of fate
And destine for him secrecy and public

65. From all that has surrounded with sorrow and care
And pain which has encompassed and touched

66. Save him from what is disliked, be his protector
For You suffice in his matters as Guardian

67. Inform him favor, my Master, from You he hopes for
From every good, my Master, he yearns for

68. And make him, by obediences and worship
Attain the beautiful favors and increase

69. And join him in the chain of existence
That he may witness existence for the Existent

70. Give a beautiful repentance, my Lord, as he
Turned to You in the most beautiful returns

71. And correct his penitence and turning
To You until he hears the answering

72. To come to Your sanctuary in rectitude
And remain in Your pleasure eternally

73. Save him from that which distances from intimacy
Of the closest servant's beautiful company

74. Raise him the ascent of the happy ascent
And preserve him by grace from the pit of misery

75. O You of whom theophanies are manifested
And eyes are screened in occultation

76. O Expourer of perpetually flowing grace
Upon one who comes to You in humility

77. A servant came seeking Your pleasure
Accept him, O You who accepts supplications

78. If he deserves not to obtain mercy
You are deserving to bestow bounty

79. Include all of us in general bestowal of gifts
And expose the heart to gifts' removal of coverings

80. So none see in creation, my Lord
By witnessing generosity, his beneficence

81. And whatever faults his state contains
From balance has obtained rectitude

82. And open for him the doors' closures
That he may find in causes the secret of ease

83. And make his independence from lawful provision
Pervasive through veiling amongst people

84. And do not leave him to other in life
For You are The Generous, Granter of blessings

85. Preserve his face from base begging
And grant him fair ending in the return

86. Bless, my Master, his consequences by grace
And elevate his position in the world rank after rank

87. And preserve him, his children and dependents
From what decline of state has befallen them

88. And guide them by the path of piety after him
That his eye may be delighted with his children

89. Do not let enemies gloat over him, my God
For the right of Ahmed the Greatest Intercessor

90. Deliver him, Lord, from separation
Make him drink from the spring of the Sacred Law

91. And take him, O my Lord, in faith
Settle him in the Abode of Eternity in the Gardens

92. Give him enjoyment through the houris and lovely wide-eyed maidens
By the light of a revealing face from a towering palace

93. And make him among the companions of the guiding Taha
In the immortal Garden and felicity

94. May Allah bless him as long as the twilight journeyed
Riding to zeal the neck of supplication

95. Submitting the fragrance of answered prayers
And the all-encompassing grace of all-embracing favors

96. And his Family and excellent Companions
Flowers of the stars, halos of the Family

97. And their Followers upon guidance eternally
And those who by the path of his guidance were led

98. As long as the fingers of generosity rose
Seeking by opening the best of seals
