1. O Lord, the doctor has failed so heal me
With Your subtle kindness, O Healer

2. I am counted among Your guests, and it is
The way of the generous to be kind to guests

3. Do not deny me Your pardon, and give me to drink
The pure nectar from the abode of holiness

4. Bind up my brokenness, for in You I trust
In You I suffice, and You are the All-Sufficient

5. Far be it, my Lord, that You would disappoint me, though
You have given what I hoped from You, contrary to me

6. And in what I intend, Muhammad intercedes-
The best of mankind, and master of nobles
