1. The full moon of radiant beauty,
Resplendent in perfection, journeying through the heavens' mysteries,

2. Outwardly manifest in grace, inwardly hidden in virtues,
The First and the Last,

3. Exalted in attributes, called by exalted names,
Transcendent yet immanent, such is His way,

4. Plunged in oceans of brilliant light,
Through love and intimacy brought forth the pearl of inspiration's wisdom,

5. Eternal, say: My Lord, increase me in knowledge, raising the heart's veils,
That my state and station be unveiled before me,

6. Who knows not this is veiled,
Love is my religion, no, my very prayer in theophany,

7. Enraptured with the one I love completely,
And died of love, thus I lived loftier,

8. The heavens my station of effusing grace,
And in my being's annihilation and speech by inspiration,

9. This path was clarified for me,
The sun of existence rose from the horizon of Truth,

10. Shining its light upon creation,
More abundant in gathering and separation,

11. And whom it touched fluttered like lightning,
Where the clouds wept and the meadow smiled,

12. Therein Zainab manifested,
O Lord, bestow blessings and peace upon the submitted one,

13. In the sanctuary of holiness, the spoken-to,
Drawn near, the Essence revealed, its sciences taught,

14. And his family in (this) station,
And his companions, the flags (of guidance),

15. What shined from their guidance was a star...
