1. The night of distress has a dawn of relief
So watch for it, hopeful for the lights in relief

2. And every darkness of overwhelming distress you see
Has behind it the light of the brilliant dawn of victory

3. And everything passes, be it sorrow or relief
So accept destiny and submit without being perturbed

4. You are only being tested in this world
By the judgement of your Lord, in ease and in hardship

5. Time is like water, inclined to be murky
And if clear, it is tilting towards crookedness

6. So be cheerful, well, and expansive in all your affairs, do not
Become despondent, and sincerely say "Oh crisis, disperse!"

7. Thank your God and know that it is a judgement
From the hidden judgement of your Master that comes to you

8. If its outward is bitter, then be patient, its inward
Is sweet, so do not be perturbed and beware of agitation

9. Dive into the seas of tranquil submission happily
And swim without fearing drowning in agitation

10. How much elevation appeared in lowliness and how much
Lowered state soared to the highest level

11. And everything has an opposite that faces it
With goodness and clear proof in it

12. What has passed by destiny, accepting it has passed
So it will not mix with what is to come

13. To God belongs the secret of manifestation in existence with what
He chooses of hardship or relief

14. Matters come in their times, so when
Their times came, they appeared in the best meadows

15. Free the heart from the prison of worries and do not
Fail to be elated by the manifestation of destiny in destiny

16. Do not be perturbed by the manifestation of judgement in a judgement
For the judgement flows over the noble and the ignoble

17. If the full moon did not disappear from its beautiful position
Its light would not be delightful in the darkness

18. And make remembrance of God enter your thoughts, for it is
A strong, fortified refuge, with open gates

19. Graze in the meadow of the remembrance's roses, you will reap
The harvest of wishes and be saved from the ember's heat

20. My God, send your prayers and peace upon him by which
The one who prays escapes the most confining affliction

21. And the dawn of wishes has shone where the
