1. A harbinger came from the unseen world to perception
So my eyes were delighted by him and my soul was pleased by him

2. With what the Master has bestowed of the blessing which
Spreads joy and intimacy in the lands

3. It is the high position you have been raised to
With the flags of intimacy raised with good tidings to mankind

4. And that is a truthful dawn, though
The lights will follow it from the rising of the sun

5. And undoubtedly I will spread morning and night
As it has spread among individuals, the knowledge of the species

6. And whoever planted justice, the straight one, will
Reap the fruits of might from that planting

7. And whoever wore piety as his emblem, he need not
Fear confusion and ambiguity with that attire

8. And whoever stood for God the Almighty
And set Him as his destination, was self-sufficient without sword and shield

9. He summoned the ships of hope in the sea of his generosity
So they came landing auspiciously due to his fortune

10. So the star of fortune shone radiantly upon him
And no wonder if the stars of bad luck were eclipsed by it

11. With your high position, you are congratulated, and I
Congratulations myself and toast with a cup of purity

12. And take over and above what you hope for of the grace of our Lord
For here He has brought it to you from the court of holiness

13. So make your day of elevated fortune tomorrow good
Just as this day is better than yesterday

14. And persevere in thanking God, for He
Will increase you beyond what is attained by the senses

15. For you are a minister more deserving than people of praise
For a king for whom the Throne and Pedestal care

16. And you are the one whose due has not been fulfilled by any eulogizer
Even if he were the most eloquent of mankind

17. A minister who, when he is generous, rivals Hatim
And rivals Antarah Al-Absi at the assemblies of the noble

18. So he continued to relax in the meadow of bliss
Shaded by congratulations, plucking the fruit of intimacy

19. For the duration of time and days, my heart was never gladdened
