1. O Imam whom destiny made
An example for people, the best Imam

2. We came to you and then settled
In your lofty, supreme, sublime refuge

3. You welcomed us with a cheerful face
And a smile that outshone cities

4. The sun of your generosity rose in a sky where
Truth is revealed with generosity and honor

5. Even the least of your generosity is treasures of knowledge
Opened from the treasuries of inspiration

6. And how many gifts like necklaces of pearls
From you on the neck of the Muslim nation

7. And yours is the doctrine which in the wilds
A doctrine whose light dispels all darkness

8. We the delegation of the protected land came to you seeking
A custom that has long brought abundant grace

9. How many delegations have you granted the generosity of open hands
Like an ocean overflowing with noble deeds

10. And how much gracious favor like mine
Have you shown with gifts and favors

11. We pitched our tents in a refuge
And cast down our staffs in surrender

12. And in the Abode of Nobility we came as guests
Seeking generosity from the Imam of the noble

13. So may the pleasure of my Lord be upon him
Flowing down like rain in harmony

14. When the brides of generosity appeared, there appeared
The beauty of guidance and rending of veils

15. And we saw the beauties of grace shine forth
Revealed to us in the best conclusion
