1. Grant me, my Lord, the wishes that I yearn
And have mercy on this slave whose sorrows burn

2. Make distant my remoteness, bring me near
Quench my thirst and give me water clear

3. Crown me with honor and acceptance fine
And grant me glory's dress and wealth divine

4. Make firm my steps towards Your presence bright
With steadfastness that fills my soul with light

5. Adorn me, load me with Your mystery
Acquaint me with myself, let me see

6. Govern me, heal me of my ills within
And allow me joy and bliss to win

7. Give me good choices that will guide my way
And tell me who is coming me to sway

8. Play on Your lute and heal me with its song
Make me withstand fever's harm lifelong

9. Take me with generosity and grace
Guide me, make smooth for me this place

10. Immerse my soul in sacred ecstasy
That in my heart of old we used to see

11. Provide me with a gaze that climbs always
On our ascent through all our nights and days

12. Lead me safely up Your ladder tall
My Peace, towards where we rise above all

13. Expand my witnessing in empty space
Make me a work of wonder and grace

14. Fast me from witnessing all else but You
And kindle love's fire in my heart anew

15. Spread wide the rose's scent of fever's flame
And fill our garden's corners with its game

16. Purify me in the unseen's oceans wide
From every fault that hides me from Your side

17. Give me shade in Your nearness, in the grove
Where sweetest fruit is plucked by hands of love

18. Teach me not knowledge of form's empty ways
But taste of grace beyond all thought and praise

19. Hide me in revelation of Your Being
That I see not myself, all thought fleeing

20. Distinguish, unite my dispersion, my separation
In lasting being, in annihilation

21. Bring me to fields where the Eternal sings
That I may hear the song Her presence brings

22. Line my eyes with the collyrium of vision
And perfect me with gifts of Your provision

23. Dress me in the cloak of truth, a wonder
That comes to us from Your treasure under

24. Give me dominion, make me wise and great
That for all, my heart may be soul's estate

25. Remind me with Your secret words, for in
Your hidden mystery make me dwell within

26. When the beloved comes, make my soul dance and sing
And bring down to this earth my every longing

27. O my soul, redeem that one to whom
By the sapling we have pledged love's kingdom
