1. If I say: O God, He says: For whom do you pray?
I am your Lord, the caller, and you are called by Me

2. Answer My call in My presence, and leave off supplication
And if I do not call upon Him, He says: Do you not pray to Me?

3. Indeed, he who was mute attained pleasures
And in the difference between speaking truth and falsehood, he who speaks truth has the right to gather

4. Just as a blind man drank cups, blindness brought oblivion
And he who is deaf was distinguished with comfort
