1. O seeker on the path of guidance
Turn away from Zaid and Amr alike

2. And if you crave sweetness
Drink from the wine “There is no god but Allah”

3. Chirp His remembrance like a caged nightingale
Fear not the judge nor the storyteller

4. And enter with the Chapter of Sincerity
So you may know, there is no god but Allah

5. Hasten your journey and strive, O seeker
Until you fulfill it, for all things perish

6. The whole world is plunged in dark annihilation
Ablaze without “There is no god but Allah”

7. Increase your prayers and peace
In this life, upon the honored Prophet

8. And his family and companions together
O you who say “There is no god but Allah”
