1. She walked with the gait of a graceful gazelle
And resembled the dawn in her visage

2. The morning breeze blew her green silken dress
As she gracefully swayed to and fro

3. I said, “Like a slender palm tree is this maiden
Gently swaying on her delicate stem”

4. She surpasses all ladies who proudly strut
Lost in their own vanity and whim

5. As Abu Ja’far ibn Abi Ja’far
Surpasses all people in renown and fame

6. A young man whose sharp intellect
Cuts through problems like a gleaming sword
