1. Nations struggle and play
And they are tortured and we are entertained

2. The conscious East draws
Its fate and the West's

3. So it is spilled
And here is a struggle - for the sake

4. Of liberation - leaping
And here are masses who are led

5. By a victorious leader
While we live as seaweed lives

6. On the banks, parasitic
Floating in it and settling

7. Hesitating, and the worst thing that killed ambition is hesitation
We inspire fear in the ranks

8. With what we instill and fabricate
We call for the colonizers

9. To love their whip
We desire their approach though in it

10. Is our demise approaching
Retreating as obstinacy and bias desire

11. Iraq, with what we mobilize
Against it and provoke

12. A home destroyed by its own hands
From what they collected

13. Life's path is rough
And the desert is far and barren

14. Sweat on the forehead and over it blood drips
And skulls obstruct

15. The weak and frighten
The heir walks on it

16. Achieving what the father outlined
And how many a group fell behind

17. And were scattered from it
While after it the oases, their meadows lush and watering places

18. And we want for it a methodical approach
That does not lean

19. Eminence prospers under
The shade of our strife and position

20. Say to the youth, be energetic
And awake and come together

21. And prepare for the emergencies
For they are preparing

22. It will applaud what it sees
Admiring and amazed

23. What we used to say East and West
Will disappear

24. The bond between peoples will become
Hated and loved

25. Go on and do not feel lonely
And return, do not be afraid

26. Do not thirst, for life
Its spring never runs dry

27. Go on lightly, your spirit
And its clarity and creed

28. Do not weigh it down with the difficult
And the strange and tire yourselves

29. And seek out a horizon clouded over
And watch carefully

30. A specter rises for you
Drenched in spilled blood

31. Green like youth and as if
He rolled in ashes, growing gray

32. With two cheeks, so intimate
A coward. And another frightening

33. He yearns for yesterday and frowns
At it... and purses his lips

34. And the dawn of tomorrow waves so he runs
Toward it and welcomes

35. An elder comes to it and
A destroyer fears it

36. He experienced life so nothing
Eluded him, prepared and bred

37. And what was hidden from his eyes is
Veiled and gone

38. So be inspired by him for the best one
To map out the path is one experienced

39. Do not freeze for nature
Is free and changing

40. Be like pebbles on the slope
Of gravel seeping through

41. Rocks come in its way
So it passes them and goes

42. And take the aspects of opportunities
From circumstances and flip them over

43. And if they are still, then split them
And if they dwindle, turn away

44. And if you find an ember
Then place the wick and ignite

45. With your hands extend
To this mixture and kindle

46. And take your coals
Again and again and stir up

47. Do not fear to anger
Those pleased that you angered

48. Be like a storm that tosses
Sands and plays

49. And seek out those
Seeking your ends

50. Do not despair if your number is few
To overcome

51. If there is no cause extending
Your steps, then cause one

52. Do not recoil for life
Approaches you

53. Tomorrow is near with ripe fruits
And ripened

54. Struggle is a task
That the ambitious perceive

55. Those who cloaked themselves
And bundled up and covered themselves

56. And whispered thinly like the consolation
Of barren "Jundub" being milked

57. Will see their steps and lips
And heads line up

58. In rows as the bricklayer arranged them
A skilled worker

59. Life is swift
And bold, undefeated

60. It casts behind the weights of years
And follows up

61. And tramples those who cannot
Keep pace and disciplines
