The spring of gallantry dries up and diminishes

3. Yearning for you moves its throbbing
A love grew between us and took root

4. Memories flutter gently
Like the breeze sighing softly

5. Reforms never left the loyal beloved
Of truthfulness when the liar stumbles

6. Your day never ceases, like your past, from a tomorrow
Burdened with the love of good immersed

7. You sip the morning light awaiting it
And distinguish its threads when tangled

8. The "wolves" called upon me attacking
An opportunity that provokes the ravenous wolf

9. They rip my flesh and every blood
In it is held for the good people

10. From every wrongdoer who does not like glory
For the dawn he effaces its miserable night

11. I repelled a group of hands, and a mouthful
And a flatterer who listened but did not speak

12. "Reforms" I and He who created
Souls with His hand, and predetermined fate

13. I restrain my impetuous soul
From going in anger like an unbroken mare

14. And protect it as long as it shines from ferocity
And if I am tested by the vicious fierce one

15. "Reforms" we are hostages of a society
That fears thieves so it slaughters the innocent

16. Secretly it is pleased with the righteous among them
And the millstone wears them out secretly

17. It gloats over its knight when it preys
And the light of a shining star is extinguished

18. The crop is not harvested except
On the flowers that it planted

19. "Reforms" no despair like one who despaired
But inspired contemplative thinking

20. For death makes every living being know
Like sleep overtakes all who doze

21. And man clashes with his grave
Before he plunges and crashes into it

22. How lonesome is the world dividing us
As if we were haunted by delusions

23. That rob our present and future
Twilight that drags darkness behind it

24. And life is a treasure hoarded
Yet one day it was stealthily stolen

25. A loose robe underneath which there is plotting
Against man stripping what he wore

26. Frowns residing upon our steps
And guarding the echo of our breaths

27. O flowers of the meadows that blossomed
With the fragrance of their smile if they frown

28. "Reforms" what good is the purpose of a proud nose
When counting years makes it barren

29. I have reached "eighty four"
And the spring that gushed has solidified

30. I was burdened by paper and despaired of
The pen that was immersed

31. And I awoke from a soul that passed in vain
Tempted by "if only", "perhaps" and "maybe"

32. And it awoke but neither innocence softens it
Nor does it deny filth

33. "Reforms" your shadow remained confident
Awake, and cautious

34. While the moral of a fearful sweeper vanished
And the wailing of a mute throat hushed
