1. I'm saddened by my knowledge of the evil of minds,
And that I'm unable to purify them.

2. It pains me that I'm seized by corrupt thoughts,
By every vile and scheming lowlife.

3. The evils of a nation that's in harmony
With its evils have been lured by appearances.

4. And here I am, with intentions as dark as night,
Assailed by the darkness of ideas.

5. And I notice in these faces like wolves
Ghosts of ferocious beasts.

6. And I'm terrified by the circles as if
I'm dealing with people risen from graves.

7. I reviewed the deeds of people and found them
Brothels covered in all sorts of veils.

8. And I searched for the virtues they invented
To peddle their greed and pride.

9. They were beautiful appearances, deceptive illusions,
While ugly and immoral in essence.

10. People walked in different directions of luck
And hopes, rightly and wrongly.

11. The success of the weak concealed his flaws
While the strong fell victim to pitfalls.

12. The brave were held to account for their slightest sins
While the saved weren't taken to task for major ones.

13. And hypocrisy has proudly become
A powerful weapon for the pretentious weak.

14. Flattery was loved and honesty condemned
So there's no life except through scheming.

15. And discord was reconciled between opposites
While greed divided those of like mind.

16. An ocean that corrupted souls
And spoiled the nature of its inhabitants' neighborliness.

17. The spring of morals was ruined
By the greed of influential manipulators.

18. Sincerity was proclaimed spoils, so you see
Only pits of deceit as a bridge for passersby.

19. One's share is hostage to whatever
The authorities see as akin to gambling.

20. Either debased to the lowest ranks
Though claiming to be lofty in pride.

21. Or elevated to highest glory
On a ladder of immoral and sinful acts.

22. Positions no longer have meaning for us
Except as property of a relative by marriage.

23. Tails are added to laws just to
Loot the chairs of the gluttons.

24. And the tragedy makes one laugh - the contradiction
Of laws whose source is mutual ransacking.

25. No wound from a poet's satire brings forth blood
No fairness from a writer springs to life.

26. Terror dominates any idea
Wavering between frolic and vocal chords.

27. This nation is tired of the situation of a gang
That's become like cudgels amidst it.

28. And the rulers aren't harmed that their shadow
Weighs heavily upon the people of conscience and insight.

29. They just want these masses to follow
Every called-upon advocate they promote.

30. And they want to fabricate a "propaganda"
That lists virtues they never knew.

31. And the most painful revenge on souls
Is individuals boastfully sacrificed for elders.

32. So that the masters can rule, innocent lands
Are watered with pure blood.

33. And so no eye witnesses any injustice,
Minutes of meetings are deliberately changed.

34. Lives of innocents taken lightly were lost
And their money vanished in a flicker of losses.

35. There were tribes we hoped for
Yet even the nature of tribes has been corrupted.

36. They were a weapon for us but became
A weapon against us time and again.

37. You see these horrors
And disgraceful acts that pain the eyes.

38. If you turn your eyes around you and look closely
One day at the secrets of consciences.

39. And expose the covering on these souls
And reveal them like daring women.

40. And investigate what's in the corners of circles
And filter what the books' intestines contain.

41. You'd return with eyes overflowing with sorrow
And a mind absent and confused.

42. And you'd be certain the situation has become difficult
To fix by any nature, no matter how skilled.

43. Heat may fill a thinker with burning anguish,
Contemplating one day the consequences of fates.

44. There is no hope except in the hands of a resentful
Reformer, angry at this deterioration.

45. For lies have clothed the essence of defects in their disguises,
Covering layers upon layers of blatant flaws.

46. Don't think poetry which lashes
At these barrens between the present and past is easy.

47. It's monumental for a poet to immortalize
The rubbish of an era with flowing rhymes.

48. We will make readers of history laugh after us
And appear to them as one of the curiosities.

49. And we will show them a theater of absurdities
Where we roam as a mocking specter.

50. If you see me kindle rhymes with a breath
You see me unable to keep them confidential.

51. For despite the storms you see
I'm suffering a stagnation inappropriate for a poet.

52. I returned to myself, attempting to provoke
Its interest and obligate it for outspoken criticism.

53. And I burdened it with blame - if I had no need
Of evil but for its love of risk.

54. And I asked it what it wants from she who
Recommends it for fearful demise?

55. Are you the leader of the souls' defects?
Appointed to count their crimes?

56. You and the bet which people ventured upon and won?
Take a course in life that satisfies you when desolate

57. And don't enjoy stagnation while inactive.
And how eccentric if you arouse and crack

58. Eccentrics in an ocean teeming with activity!
And better than you claim is strength

59. Is the forgiveness of loved ones and seizing the favorable moment.
