1. No glory except with the sharp edge of the sword,
And you striking prey between enthusiastic and aloof.

2. And your cavalry galloping in their zeal,
Eagerness overtakes their leaders before news.

3. And with thoroughbred horses you attain what is
Beyond wishes, not by tail and mane length.

4. O seeker of glory, cease not striving
Trivialize hardships, however frequent and wide.

5. And how often an impassioned striver attained the sublime
Abu Sinan, of beautiful mention and history.

6. Who wrested the kingdom from the despot,
And lanced steeds in the thick of battle.

7. Who poured generosity in comfort’s midst,
A torrent when skies stingily withheld rain.

8. The ascetic fasting devout if passionate,
Braving summer's heat and waking at dawn.

9. Who shows truth seeking no compensation,
When its seeker ventures into danger.

10. Of unblemished honor, free of faults and stains,
And unmarred reputation, free of blame and shame.

11. Recalling wrongs and sins if remembered
In his presence - stinginess being unforgivable.

12. O seeker of sustenance, legally and abroad,
Let days and fate content you.

13. The distant seems attainable to dreamers
Like eternal paradise, never devoid of fruit.

14. Each living being recognizes its Giver,
Invoking Him: Dispenser of full moons.

15. O you who suffered injustice - resolve melted it -
Descend in its sphere and fortune shall favor you.

16. Bare your feet, stamp on the head of Time, and master
Its events with a despot's tyranny on crimson.

17. Fear not its savage power in this,
It has no power to harm or benefit.

18. How often it sheltered, while days oppressed,
One who hugged misery all night.

19. How often it saved a man whose certain death
Led to Paradise or Hellfire.

20. How often the lame walked in its shade,
Like wine flowing smooth in cups.

21. O son of nobility, your forefathers built
Glory’s edifice with generosity and courage, not bricks and stone.

22. Your lineage is famed for glory, confirmed
By the discerning, of hearing and sight.

23. A people, if news came or glory’s pages written,
They were the first line.

24. If they wrote glory in crimson,
Their script was by lifeblood spilled.

25. Drinking cool pure water, while people drank
Of clay and sediment.

26. Kindling, when hot winds blew, sparks into the bonfire of strife,
With drops igniting drops.

27. I shield your glory from the evil eye, for I see it
In perfection, resembling the moon's halo.

28. You united glory's broken tribes,
And protected the face of nobility from disgrace.

29. You extinguished a blaze engulfing the land,
Without you, nothing would remain or resist.

30. So every land, its inhabitants now fear, says
“Leave me be, and head straight for Hijrah.”

31. Make it your abode, residing peacefully,
Safe from fear and dread.

32. When you settle therein, it will be under a King
Robed in ascetics’ rags and justice’s garb.

33. His subjects sleep securely, his realm restful,
While his heart remains alert.

34. He sees affliction befalling his flock at dawn,
And them returning by nightfall, cautious.

35. Neither startling ostriches sharing his abode,
Nor favoring those who swim among cows.

36. Nor alarmed if a neighbor betrays,
Be it resident or traveling companion.

37. Rather, enemies dread his striking steed,
As blades glint treacherously in the night.

38. His thrusts are like the mouths of wine decanters
When brimming, and his blades piercing like needles.

39. O King whose virtues in periods of calm and strife are known,
O glory of rule, crown of kings, nay, peak of peaks.

40. You are glory without horses or awe,
You are power without weakness or bounds.

41. You are protector without fear or dread,
You are giver without reservation or stint.

42. By God I swear, taking no exceptions,
If not for you the noble would have no burdens left.

43. The Bahrain valley would not be empty of you
Nor would your foes outlast time’s march in their abodes.

44. You lived in lofty isolation, remote
From events, mishaps, and others.
