34. And those who assault the tyrant, toppling his dome
With relentless courage, lacking fear or awe

Uprooting the cornerstones of the house with logs

36. They built glories for them, excellences erected

39. And of those, when his fatherhood is reckoned
There is no reaching his excellence and pedigree

40. And he who is Abu Shukr, his successor, did not die
Eclipsing the full moon and covering the clouds

41. With precedence, like his name, in every honor
So if an age brings you low, call him and he will respond

42. And where is the like of Abu Shukr when the fires of turmoil blaze
And the plundered seek refuge from plunder?

43. He who routs battles, under the dust cloud you see
The striking of his horses like the striking of fire into brushwood

44. The heroes do not fear his might on a day of turmoil
Save by grasping the reins of his steed or fleeing
