1. He urged his camel on at Al-Aqeeq and stopped at Thul-Ajraa
I rode my horse quickly through Al-Adheeb as it trotted lively

2. And I descended for I had reached the hoped for destination
A folk who won the most splendid abode

3. And he circled around the Sacred House and turned toward
The valley of Al-Khuzam, verdant and fresh

4. Then he turned toward Al-Abraq and An-Nqaa
And left behind the sand dunes in wild terrain and adventured on

5. And I went straight to the brother of passions at Luwaa’s twist
Above Al-Ghuweir downstream of Bana’s spring

6. I whipped the horse, O brother of love, gently
And patiently endured the blazing heat of the wilderness

7. And the horse passed by breathing deeply, pleased,
And I felt comfortable between going and returning

8. O guide of the caravan, leave the reins slack
So the camels may drink as they wish and graze

9. Alas! If the horses but knew how much
They gained after that difficult journey

10. They would have bitten their cheeks and bent their proud necks
And crushed the ribs of their chests

11. O you who pine, ride gently when the light of that place appears to you
And be steadfast when you meet, for how many a man

12. Longing for what he saw did not survive
And when you reach Taibah’s treaty grounds

13. And the people are between newcomers and those taking leave
And the flags of those hills became visible

14. And the light of the Four shone before your eyes
Then enter the one with sublime glory and be

15. Cautious, ask permission, pray and plead
And make good use of your time there, happy,

16. Between his pulpit and that place where he would recline
And turn toward his noble grave and call out:

17. O you who is hoped for when distress calls
O you whose glory is great, who by it

18. Heals the sick of illnesses and relieves agony
This is the station of the frightened refugee,

19. The anxious sinner, the agonized mourner
The timid fearful one who wasted

20. Moments acquiring what did not avail
And seek to complete what you desire and do not worry

21. Of boredom, but increase your wishes and indulgences
And recall there your yearning and eagerness,

22. And craving, and burning agony
And ask the people of Life about my heart for since

23. I left Taibah, I could not find my heart with me
And make excuses for me for being late

24. In coming to this cheering, delightful station
Delight your eye for an hour, O brother of passions,

25. In what is there, and enjoy yourself and indulge
For there hearts brim with joy,

26. And the distressed find relief from all pain
And prepare your conversation for Adheeb and Barqi

27. And weep for the abodes and shed tears
Those abodes, where can the like of them be found

28. As good, and which of their plants will not bloom?
Where prophethood, messengership and guidance are present

29. And the noblest most splendid virtues shine
The secret of existence, and the pole of the sphere of passion

30. He of the twisted lock, on the day we shall stand in awe
The best of all creation, and the most eminent

31. To have tread earth in rank and the most generous intercessor
