1. O family of the Prophet, I have none but you as
A refuge I seek in distress tomorrow

2. With you I fear not the evil of time though it
Wreak calamity, O family of Ahmed

3. Who can equal your nobility, O family of Taha
The canopy of glory lies spread over you

4. Every merit in others is thanks to you
O sons of purity, by ancestry

5. Your tables of bounty are never wanting
Each day renewed for your visitors to find

6. O kings, for whom is raised the banner of glory
And on whom the crown of fortune is bound

7. What house can compare with yours, O family of Taha
Whom God purified and glorified

8. Garden of glory and pride you are
Over you the birds of bounty soar and sing

9. In books, beautiful mention is made of you
Guiding every reader, blessing them

10. About you the verses of Scripture revolve
After the Book's praise what glory can there be

11. Among the nobles you have, O family of Taha
A lofty, exalted and built up place

12. We come aspiring, O son of the Prophet's daughter
Seeking blessing from your noble side

13. O Hussein, none has glory like yours
No ancestry like yours, from early times

14. O Hussein, by right of your ancestor be kind
To your loving follower, make it your custom

15. At all times to kiss a tomb wherein
You lie, with both eyes and bear witness

16. My masters help a loving follower who came to you
Eyes raining tears for love of you, bound

17. And aid a faulty one who has none but you
If matters worsen and grow difficult

18. For you I focused my love, and after love of you
I meet no rebuttal or refusal

19. My God, but for love of the Prophet's family
The family of Taha of enduring glory

20. I am a faulty servant, hoping for no deed
Save love of Muhammad's family

21. Most noble of messengers, purest of creation
His is the merit, pride foreverlasting

22. Bless him, O Lord, at all times
Forever in Your eternal, everliving reign

23. And his family and companions whatever
Praises the enraptured recite and sing
