1. If the rejection of your love, O Ahlulbayt, was pleasing,
Then I delighted in that rejection.

2. I presented to you, O Aali Yaseen, my tale,
And it is fitting for the likes of me to make such a presentation to the likes of you.

3. Your custom is to honor whoever visits your abode,
Far be it for that custom to be abandoned or violated!

4. For love of you I spent my life, and is there for one
Who loves you any recourse but love after God?

5. Of Him before whom the heavens and earth humbled themselves.
A loving one has come to you, O Ahl al-Taha, visiting you,

6. And love of you is proven true in history, and an obligation.
