1. To the spacious desert and wide abode
To the melodious garden and fresh spring

2. To the sanctum of mysteries and sacred shrine
To which the gnostics make their holy pilgrimage

3. To the Bedouin, manifest secret, Ahmad
The master of joys, the unique, singular Pole

4. I crossed the endless desert, longing for you
May my troubles be relieved through Father of Joy

5. I come O youths to seek the dew
For the Father of Youths is my refuge in hardship

6. I have made you, O stalwart of men, my means
To God, for worries have constricted my heart

7. And I come to you, O Pole of existence, hopeful
That God grant me favor to attain my wish

8. O Benign One, O Munificent One
I come seeking relief in hard times

9. Take my hand, O Munificent One, for I
Have sought intercession through the Elect, Family and Companions

10. It brings shame on the best of men, if one comes
To him in sickness and returns without remedy

11. In you, O Pole of the world, is a hope that
With a glance, the dread in my thoughts may disappear

12. Upon you from the Bountiful God, greetings
That sweep away, like clouds or gentle rain
