These are the lights of Taha the Arab

2. These are the lights of the Chosen One
The seal of prophets, noble lineage

3. His lights have appeared
And shown from behind those veils

4. His lights, so rejoice
And be joyous for now is the time for joy

5. This is goodness O eye, and none
After him was as good

6. Long have I yearned
To see his grave in Yathrib

7. These are the lights of that grave that have
Emerged, my eyes, so come near

8. And look upon the brilliant star, for how many
Souls long for this star

9. And witness the grave I have linked
To the Messenger of God, the highest link

10. The grave of one who visits it
Once in his life will never lose

11. O brother of longing, unload your
Complaints to him, and choose

12. And be polite, O brother of love, for you
Are in the realm of etiquette

13. And shed tears of joy, for upon
Another, our tears have not been shed

14. And line your eyes with his earth
And expand your hopes, and seek

15. And humble yourself and plead
And expand your hopes and seek

16. For he is a sea abundant, whoever came
Seeking, attained the fullest desire

17. What glory is like the glory of the Chosen
Source of good, treasure of merit

18. O Messenger of God, I am a sinner
And of generosity, to accept a sinner

19. O Prophet of God, I have no stratagem
Except my love for you, O best Prophet

20. And my certainty in you, O best of creation
That my love for you is the strongest cause

21. Great are my problems, and through you I hope
In it, O Lord, so relieve my problems

22. And save me, O God of the Throne, from
An evil soul playing games with me

23. And salvage what remains, for truly
My life in passion and play has been lost
