You stirred me up and kindled my fire.

3. O land of Salma, when will I see
My melting heart humbly pleading?

4. O spirit of God, rain on Salma’s abode
And water it with your flowing bounty.

5. The breeze of that land is most fragrant,
And the abode of the beloved is best.

6. May God return you, O heart, visit
Generous hosts at Mughan's valley.

7. Convey my longing and greetings,
That I may rise high as a minaret.

8. In His book, mercy is prescribed for her
If only she seeks it, and if I recite.

9. God raised his status and granted him
Pride, confirmed with pride.

10. My comfort is to stand there, make effort
To expire there, though my horses tire.
