1. My heart shone bright with beauty
When it fell for the noble prophet's glow

2. My eyes became tearful with joy
And my day passed filled with bliss

3. Can your heart help but find solace
In the love of Muhammad it overflows?

4. Ahmad, the best of messengers
Brought us light from his sacred text

5. I come to God surrendered
Praising the guidance and ablution he bestows

6. Commanding right, forbidding wrong
Forgiving every errant slave

7. He made truth clear, dispelling doubts
Proclaiming what was once concealed

8. Trusting others, he drew near
While the poor gained little succor

9. You, my master, are our treasured grace
In this arid, fruitless age

10. I'm His servant, though I don't claim
With my praise to be a virtuous sage
