At the wedding of God's trustee, of glory and pride

In a noble, lofty palace

12. And strove that he remain honored and esteemed
By him, and remain of abundant merit with him

13. So he gave him a jewel of virtues concealed
Rising above the starry orb

14. And clasped around his neck a gemstone necklace
Beautiful that necklace on that neck

15. And placed on his hand the best ring
Parting is best, for pearls are finest in the sea

16. To delight him a wedding of glory and fortune
And good fortune appeared within it, rising fortune

17. Every horizon shone from its glimmer
So the epochs whitened through it

18. And the face of earth became fertile from his clouds that
Sufficed us against rain showers and droplets

19. And trees shone from joy, as
The regions quivered with green garments

20. A glorious bride brought to you, O pride of the age
Trustee of God, O delight of the time

21. Rejoice with her, rejoice with might and sublimity
And giving adornments, jewelry, whites, and yellows

22. For you a pearl split from the world of beauty
As dawn splits shining from the horizon
