1. My heart recalled its sin and sought refuge,
And my eyes wept, increasing their flow.

2. I melted from my slip, so my heart became,
Jaded from the sins I came to it with.

3. Life passed while my heart ailed,
From the sickness of a burning love's harm.

4. It's the humiliation of sins, but with you,
O the most generous of prophets, is my refuge.

5. All people accumulated, so it's right that one like me,
Sees himself at your door as a beggar.

6. The peak of sinners on the day of resurrection,
Is one behind the other seeking refuge and shelter.

7. I want no guarantor but Allah's covenant,
To save me from passionate love.

8. Reason is bewildered by the attributes of a prophet,
Whose praise is pleasant to me and increases my joy.

9. He whom God elevated his status,
So it’s fitting that his esteem be equaled.

10. Leave the envious of passion and excel in his praise,
Then be honored by praising him tomorrow.
