1. I refused but my love persisted, its heat rising,

For they are the most honorable in it.

10. It is the land where my talismans were tied
And where my roots and branches once grew.

11. In it my she-camel settled in its fertile quarter
And in it my camel desires, and my value rises.

12. Oh how I wish I knew! Will I reside in its quarter
Gathered with loved ones in reunion?

13. Will I meet my family after long separation?
For in every region I have family.

14. Will its meadows bloom again after withering?
Will the rain and dew pour over its leaves?

15. Will the does of Karch emerge in multitudes
With nothing to protect them but their keeper?

16. Will I hear the caller when darkness descends

And say to the pretender: Not so fast! Things are not what they seem.

22. Your harms trouble us little.
But God's destiny cannot be undone.

23. My Lord, by the Essence and the Wisdom
Through which things manifest and originate...

24. By the light of Beauty radiating when It appears
And the Awe of Glory beyond the mind's grasp...

25. By Your supreme Power and sublime Attributes
Whose grasp and release are Yours to give...

26. By the mysteries embedded in Your servants
Which You do not reserve only for the elite...

27. By the grace of revelation descending
Which the noble messengers received faithfully...

28. By Your lofty angels in the Throne's precinct
Who have no concern but to obey...

29. By all the prophets who warned the world
So that guidance came through their mission...

30. By the Seal of Messengers culminating their line
For whom, when he came, predecessors withdrew...

31. Your beloved, whom You honored with intercession
Encompassing all who will gather in the Plain...

32. By his companions who strove with their souls
Undeterred by wealth or family...

33. By the successors who followed his guidance
And their adherents who settled in lands of piety...

34. Restore for us the Abode of Peace and its people
Through Your subtle kindness - the burden has grown heavy!

35. And treat them with clemency, have mercy on their elders
And children, for the elder has aged and the child is frail!

36. Epidemic and plague—none but You is their refuge.
You are the Clement, the Wise, the Just!

37. O Divine Protection, hasten to their deliverance
From tyranny! For the Merciful has plentiful grace!

38. O Divine Protection, make each one in Your fortress,
The enemy thwarted, while they are exposed!

39. O Divine Protection, give them victory and disperse
The hordes of enemies—easy to disdain are the enemies!

40. I implore You, so respond and heed my call!
For I called upon You as the eyelids poured.

41. Meet my request with answer, my Master!
For neither complaint nor plea fails before You.

42. Bless and salute, every day and hour,
The Chosen One, whose mention gives joy to the world,

43. His Household and Companions, guiding stars
Above whom none tower, nor any equal.
