1. God has granted you manifest relief
And surrounded you with radiant light

2. You survived and will forever remain protected
Thus you became like the saved companion of Al-Tur

3. May God make your life ever pleasant
With prosperous, pure livelihood

4. One like you, whom the nights are inclined towards
And every ignoble person looks up to

5. You have pleased all people without exception
And none but you deserves to be called pleased

6. Can any living thing's dust touch you?
While you are our pristine pearl

7. I will take revenge on those who wrong you
For I do not tolerate harm upon the eminent

8. And pull out the fang of every snake
That dares attack the honorable and pure

9. None can approach your superiority
For you possess the highest merit

10. Can I forget your friendship at any time?
When I am not called the forgetful one

11. May God reward you well for composing
Poems that delight the heart and mind

12. Your eloquence matches Al-Farazdaq
And your excellence rivals Al-Buhturi

13. Pleasing every person of intellect
For the wise cannot be discerned from the ignorant

14. Your cups are passed around at all times
Exuding a delightful fragrance

15. You have narrated authentic accounts
In an unbroken chain and sound transmission

16. About the beloved friend, though far
From the virtuous and noble

17. Of noble origin and ancestry
God protected him from lowly roots

18. He brought goodness to the world
With generosity and a hand like Hatim

19. When I mention their virtues, I am quick
To Abdullah, of the devout heart

20. Speak what you wish, for he is an ocean
Containing all manner of sweetness

21. Can his merit in existence be counted?
Through prose or verse composition

22. By your life! Or can the eulogies of people
Do justice to the loyal eminent one?

23. For it is God in His benevolence
To our master the prophet, the Hashimi

24. He protected you in an impenetrable fortress
And surrounded you with radiant light
