1. The writings of the scholars spread
Across the horizons like brocade

2. If the armies of jurisprudence have banners
Then the Manhaj of Muhyi al-Din is like a crown

3. Landmarks built by al-Shafi'i for us
And we have followed the best path to them

4. Shihab al-Din added his gems
An explanation shining light on the perplexed

5. Jewels in it once scattered
Now an assembled and burning necklace

6. No meaning knotted in his expression
But by morning is a nail in the threshold

7. So say to our master al-Ramli, apologizing
I have related this though not the truthful savior
