1. With you the meadows became fragrant, and its roses fragrant,
You are its flowers and roses.

2. You enlightened its darkness with the light of your wisdom,
So its extremities and borders shone because of you.

3. After you it died for an era, but you returned
So after death, its existence returned.

4. You sheltered it with your wings, and prepared
For it its spirit, and immediately its wood turned green.

5. You looked upon its bedouins and tyrants
So its Jacob and Hammud submitted to you.

6. You are its patrons, and you are its defenders
And its masters on the day of meeting, and its lions.

7. For you is the highest rank in the meadows of glory
Bewildering its Mansur and its Rashid.

8. From your prosperity, the desolate places bloom
And the ancestors of the Generous One are praised.

9. They are two steeds having preceded in every virtue,
With their outstanding good, its necklaces shine.

10. Of great duration, a shower of dew, illuminating guidance,
A fruitful prince who puts musk incense to shame.

11. They are two wings for guidance in every place,
So every youth called in truth is rightly guided.

12. They both inherited the knowledge of leadership aforetime,
If the fathers are good, so too is their infant.

13. And do not forget the bounty of generosity and freshness,
And pillar of the lords on high and their backbone.

14. Lions before the roaring beasts, their resolve has aimed
At the highest ranks, and their limits are vast.

15. Bounties from the Generous One succeeded
Which its freemen and slaves have acknowledged.

16. Governance of a king for the subjects it has built
Citadels of justice, so its munificence overflowed among the people.

17. And the resolve of a soul that has risen above all resolve
So its caller is honored and its praiser is extolled.

18. And a house of guests, may God make his house endure,
For its visitors from every lowland and highland are many.

19. So the destinies, O House of Joseph, will never cease
Singing your highest glories above.

20. And in good fortune dwelling, and livelihood
Through the nights continuing in comfort and ease.

21. As long as pilgrims have continued to Mina
And ascending to the highest hills was good.
