I would not have in the whole wilderness

2. A loyal friend whose pride his excellence acquired
He quenches the leadership generously from a generous one

3. And I have missed, and however much I missed, his departure
Where can I be near you, O immaculate father

4. For both of you are to me a fulfilling refuge
In which I felt secure from the unjust times

5. So dedicate to your brother Abu al-Maali entirely
