لِمَعَانٍ تَعافُهَا الأَلْوانُ

٢. مخَضَتْ في العبيد
فَجَرَى من أَلْبَانُ
3. However I, having just advised you
The blacks are rough slaves
٣. غيرَ أَنِّي وقَدْ نَصَحْتُكَ جُهْدِي
آنِفٌ أَنْ السُّودَانُ
4. And their color lacks aubergine
٤. العبيد سُودٌ غِلاظٌ
وَهْيَ لونٌ ما فيهِ باذِنْجَانُ
