1. The radiant dawn revealed to the objector
A houri amidst the darkness of gloomy night

2. So the veil of darkness was torn from the cheeks
Of two suns in a horizon bound tightly

3. And behind the curtains of clouds was a watcher
Who courted the evenly balanced, bent twig

4. From every smiling tooth when it flowed
The tears of the sleeper from the twisted creek

5. And a startled one whose hatred was trampled by
My two lips expanding in that narrow path

6. I faced him and knew I was a penetrator
Greedily, whenever I inspired him, he did not yield

7. And for every tightly closed door I tried
Gently, so I opened it for the beseecher

8. And a coddled one, I shook his shoulder
The tricks of passion inclined his twisted neck

9. When the youth pursued playfulness and flirtation
He found death easy, twisted and coiled

10. Do not deny me the normality of sorrow
For love is a cup whose wine is not mixed

11. And if hardships wanted me with their bitterness
The wind slides off the folds of my thick coat

12. Or if I walked in the raggedness of clothes, I
Am like dry plants, shabby and worn

13. I accompanied the night, its cold contracted
For the open sea of its bright morning rippling

14. As if the scattered stars were strung pearls
Arranged over a structure of turquoise

15. I stayed up watching Suhail quiver
Alone, as if it were the throbbing heart

16. The rain clouds' lashes wept, bringing smiles
To their awning-shaded and embroidered lids

17. I ignored praising the righteous at its end
So I was needless of the blossoms' bouquet

18. I called, "O gift of God!" and he said to me
"Speak of success - walk that path"

19. It is the Kaaba of favors, though it is
Distant, and whoever cannot, does not perform Hajj

20. My determination pulled me, I went to obtain wishes
So ability tugged me below you wavering

21. To God belongs the credit whose effort
Tore through obstacles to the most excellent adorned

22. The essence of polite society - if he conversed with an eloquent Arab
He would reveal to him the intricacies of the meandering

23. Awake, walking between the eyes of an attainer
Proud in glorious, embellished attire

24. Smooth of forehead, fragrant of qualities
Clear of approach, diverse of attributes

25. Matured despite his youth, and dignified
An agreeable blend came with the genuine amalgamation

26. Eloquent - if he contended with an Arab
He would show him the complexities of the winding

27. Firm in the foundations of wisdom, where
The knots of love came undone and all that was tangled rested

28. He spread virtues and ascended, as if
The high courts were folded for him on the pulpit

29. Devoutly ascetic - if the world were granted to him
And told "Enter it" he would not have exited

30. The arrow of assumption hits its mark, his opinion shines
Where the light of sun has not blazed

31. A talent guides him in the complex matters
Walking in the clarity of the brilliant dawn

32. So for what worried and rushed affairs did it gesture
One day hastily without pondering?

33. He preceded virtues with virtues, so he leans
To outrun the negligent with the share of the initiator

34. The judge of rulings did not cling to them
With the frivolity of the agitated or plight of the embarrassed

35. This is the ancient house - so whoever desires
The return of devotion and piety should perform Hajj

36. So may the Eid in which he is its servant delight him
And with its servant in goodness and beautiful favor perform Hajj

37. The Lord of the crown under His judgement
Rules with justice obedient to the owner of bliss

38. He continues like the shining full moon transferring
From auspicious mansions to mansions
