1. Your lightning flashed in the darkness, shining bright,
Your heart gushing and your tears pouring down in streams.

2. The cloak of darkness is torn to shreds,
As the rising winds tear apart the clouds.

3. While the stallion gallops freely in the land,
Going wherever the winds may blow.

4. The doves in their nests reminded us
Of days long past, filled with longing.

5. Below the white mount, swords gleam
And armed men stand guard, watchful and alert.

6. In the wasteland, neither the eagles circle
Nor the howls of wolves can be heard.

7. With such miserliness, how could one be there
When raiders come galloping into our valley?

8. I remember you while fires rage around us
And the earth's face turns blacker than ashes.

9. The camel crosses great distances,
While gusts of wind blow without restrain.

10. For lovers pine to be near those they love,
And migrants yearn for their native homes.

11. No stoic with wisdom could conceal his torrent,
With tears flowing down his cheeks.

12. Is love not tears overflowing?
Is it not a fire in my breast that I try to hide?

13. At times I'm drunk with joy like a fawn leaping,
At others raging like a spear piercing its target.

14. Though he seems frail, what strength he has!
Though slight, how he bears heavy burdens!

15. He makes the clan proud and brings honour
To our master, for whom praises overflow.

16. When he extends his wings over you,
Call out, asking who can withstand the blows of fate?

17. He is gentle like a meadow, yet wise like a mountain,
Aspiring high, yet firm as a towering peak.

18. He is the full moon, but his light is brighter,
Not dimmed by the passing clouds.

19. He is the sea, but from his open hand
Flows sweet water, not bitter brine.

20. He is the rain, and whenever he wills,
The meadows and valleys fill and overflow.

21. May God grant you all you wish,
Though fate brings adversity and misfortune.

22. May He make you steadfast though times are turbulent,
And fulfill all promises though pacts are broken.

23. May He keep you in His sight though faces turn away,
As stars shine from your brow and blessings flow from your hand.

24. Else, why does lightning flash and the clouds gather?
Why do the rains pour down and the sky brighten?

25. Enemies near and far know full well
That you are worthy of honor, whether they are far or near.

26. Your manner is gentle, your actions decisive and just,
Your generosity profound, though others cannot grasp its meaning.

27. Only your hand makes it clear.
Preserve the stories of the Prophet and the vast ocean of protected knowledge.

28. Be content with the Feast of the Sacrifice, and remain Muslim.
May your honor and efforts be rewarded.
