2. I deter you from any amusing news
In which the sergeant's beard is plucked

ุชูุญู’ู„ูŽู‚ู ููŠู‡ ู„ูุญู’ูŠูŽุฉู ุงู„ุนุฑูŠูู

3. And its wheat does not stand in the countryside
And spring escapes to autumn

5. In it a thousand weights of wool are scattered
Until the skin of the lamb is stripped

6. He says, have you denied my good deed
By Allah, I will not be silent about my bread

7. Nor will I be content with procrastination
It was my food and my allyโ€™s food

How many a drinker without it is famished

10. And how many a slapper without it is harsh
Who will bring it to me and fulfill

11. And return the merit of my exhausted mind
While staunching my flowing tear

12. Alas for it and for my summer
I reckon I hope more than my rebuke

Who loses my composition in his authorship

Starting with their wool before their meat
