25. Though he who praises thinks him a hero
Were the century to glimpse, just a fox

26. One of strong resolve should he follow
A man of daggers, would not sleep

27. By God, its fire is not what they claim
Of the Son of Canaan's line

28. Opinion, had it sided with injustice, would not
Have feared the days of wrong

29. Generosity, when Fate contends with it
Contains loss within loss

30. And this glorious sight, I say, when
The full moon contends with proof supreme

31. This perfection encompassed his good fortune
O Moon! No loss can follow

32. O Glorious One, in your shadows
I gained places that settled me

33. You gained from the discerning age the sublime
May you remain for that eye, human.
