1. Let it rest in the reason
And cast off the saddle of firmness

6. And spend a dark night
To a pale morning

7. The spring has been found so why
Have you been disappointed at dusk

8. What the eagle has given birth to
Who is content with the share of ruins

9. If you seek a homeland
Of glory then be a stranger

10. For the nightingales in its forests
Are few in the reeds

11. And man's glory does not decrease
As his glory decreases

12. And praise is the lot of one
Who men have changed

13. And the sun does not care where
It rises or sets

14. It is upon you to strive and not
Upon you the produce of the goal

15. So be to the camel saddle
Like the sand hill to the armpit

16. And strike the shining orient
The rear of the setting sun

17. And if you pass by the purely
White domed tents

18. And the alive from the wheat of the
Men of abstinence and restraint

19. And the demeanor which is known for
The state of content and anger

20. Then stop there for it is
The square of the crown of the Arabs

21. Protector of the fray, bearer of
The heavy tiring burden

22. With a shoulder which when
His palm has clung, does not bend

23. Will you help me against my enemies
With a spear and claws

24. With the brown muscular or
The white well-groomed

25. So oh glorities, increase
Sublimity, you remain the passage of time

26. And listen to poetry
Whose words are like meteors

27. And you have not mixed pearls
In my words with tinsel

28. I have come to address between
The hunters the people of sermons

29. Thanking the bright star and the judge
The most noble and generous

30. And I have not said it
For any useless reason or bribe

31. For I am content with
Benevolence and friendship

32. My spirit refuses
To make my poetry my livelihood
