1. The upper world rejoices
And the lower world of humility

2. Satisfies, then reconciles
Thus some are pleased with others

3. And Mary is filled with honor
With the fullness of height and width

4. With her birth that fulfilled
For us an obligation beyond obligation

5. It gives us good tidings that Jesus
Will come from her to reconcile

6. Openly when Eve erred
Around Adam while on earth

7. So what fairness He brought
And repaid that debt
