1. The elements descended from your sublimity
When you descended from your celestial realm

From our understanding, amid the angels

Who came to us after hiding

And the light is a light from your brilliance

8. From Mary the virgin whom
You guarded and singled out among women

9. The light of existence, essence of
The two worlds, elite of your saints

10. You brought together the hearts of the faithful
Believers, the devout, upon allegiance to you

11. And through her we knew that you are
The one symbolized by your prophets

12. You are the living and eternal God
In the meaning of your eternity

13. Presiding on your lofty, unassailable throne in your majesty
O source of the universe that

14. Dazzled minds, illustrious in your glory
You are the pact of angels, creatures

15. And existence upon praising you
Every poor soul draws

16. Goodness from your abundant grace
This existence and its like

17. Are enough for a portion of your bounty
Bestow favor upon a servant who came

18. To you seeking deliverance from your tribulation
And show kindness to a soul that

19. Your trials made it spiral down into your snares
Until by your test and trial

20. Ruinous sins kept him from union with you
And condemned him but who can

21. Hope for reprieve from your decree
So show him mercy, you are the hope and none despair of your grace

22. And admit him into the path of the righteous
Standing firm in allegiance to you
