1. If someone praises you,

١. إذا أطراك إنسانٌ بمدحٍ
فأطرق نحو قلبك وامتحنْهُ
2. If it pleases you, thank God even more.
If it fools you, hurry to get away from him.
٢. فإن أرضاك زد للَه شكراً
وإن أغواك فُز بالبعد عنهُ
