1. My hands skilled in praise, my composer
Of Mary for she is an ocean of tenderness

2. A God singled her out from all creation
And raised her to the peak of glory

3. He called her His mother, and the virgin mother
What glory from the Most High!

4. From her came a God, mighty in status
A noble one, settled in the tower of chastity

5. He created her then blessed her and was kind
Protecting her perfectly from the grip of enemies

6. She received the revelation of God and instilled it
Openly, within reciting scripture

7. And when she was graced by the eye of the Master
Who singled her out after excellence

8. He called her since she slept in virtue until
She rose above growth in her growth

9. And so He gave birth to her as a mother and virgin
In the humanity of the most high ‘Ali

10. She is the daughter of Adam the human but
When has one been in such an elevated state?

11. And she did not know the mistakes of ancestors at all
And this purity from that conception

12. A God drew near her and settled in her
And this purity from that impurity

13. With her birth, creation was reassured
And those imprisoned felt respite

14. Through her faith became light
And the fire of unbelief dimmed

15. For I, o maiden, will save you
In spirits and in bodies

16. So I ask you, beauty of creation
Even if enemies incite evil

17. And evil knows not the way to my love
For Mary, so leave it to enemies

18. Yes, I have risen with her but
My mistakes have deterred me from my rising

19. I have longed for you since my youth but
My youth was trapped in the shirk of childhood

20. I want to repent and I have hope
That you will help me with tenderness
