The atrocities of snakes without cause or reason

3. They boast of an origin that was, since ancient times
Known in their scripture, as is well established

4. If we surpass you in noble lineage
How much more did Jesus Christ the prophet surpass

5. If our scripture lags behind yours
Wine holds a secret that grapes do not yet possess

6. If you wished, the books would not say of your ancestors
The sword speaks truer than books

7. Enough disgrace, for what your calf proclaimed
"I am your god, O Jacob, so follow me"
