1. The most glorious of eras without a doubt
In qualities of eloquence, on Ascension day

2. The Lord Christ ascended, preparing
Gardens attained by every well-mannered one

3. He tread the formidable, impenetrable path
And gave His loved ones the gift of joining Him

4. God opened His kingdom after it had
Previously been firmly shut

5. Adam the disobedient ascended to Him
And his children, and the tears of anguish ceased

6. That day, gazelles frolicked happily
With brisk, wide steps

7. That day, the suns of its light shone
Illuminating the expanse of the horizon

8. That day, angels bent their shoulders
To the Originator's watering place

9. That day, the Savior ascended victoriously
To the highest heaven

10. That day, the light of Ascension illuminated
The darkness of disbelief on the day of discord

11. That day, the processions of apostles were protected
By the sword of safety across the horizons

By a God who is most high above all others

13. He sanctified the clouds and planets, striding
