1. If the humble mind submits to our senses
It will feast with them on the food of fools
١. فإن خضعَ العقلُ الوضي لحواسنا
فيأكلُ معْها من طعام الصعالكِ
2. But if those senses submit to our mind
They will feast with it on the food of angels
٢. وإن خضعت تلك الحواس لعقلنا
فتأكل معْه من طعام الملائكِ
