1. I saw Miriam afflicted in our distress
With power to crush enemies so we prevail

2. Regard her dignity, O you who honor her
We gain relief in hardship, O he who has no friend

3. Go to her, ask her in your times of sorrow
For she is deliverance, she will not keep nor abandon

4. So remove evil from us, O you pure of
A generous son, praising goodness however issued

5. See our weakness, O Virgin, in her purity
And hurry and uncover our difficulties, cautious

6. Allah's nation does not forget their purposes
Then help them for they are your poor servants

7. I beseech you so they do not see evil befall them
At death or from what transpired in life

8. Quench hearts that overflowed from the bliss of her
That they spurn the tribulations of life however soiled

9. See, O Virgin, our humility, so do not let
The people of denial enter hazardous events

10. The yield of virtues filled us with its wisdom
Lest the punishment of Allah take unawares he who stumbles

11. You saw sincere devotion from us thus
It is fitting you save the sinner even if betrayer

12. Have mercy, remember your intercession for us
And shorten an exile prolonged so we are delivered
