1. The sting of a piercing fire is slight for us,
And we hand over from the torturing disease of adultery.

2. A great jihad beyond endurance,
For every weakening to adultery a cause.

3. Its beginning is a thought followed by imagining,
Its pleasure comes with an enticing inclination.

4. If you are patient, your weakness is clear,
If you are soft, you are not troubled.

5. Protect now a heart from the thieves of contaminating thoughts,
Defiling and the mind unsophisticated.

6. Thus are the five senses, if you are pure,
You see God covering them with ordered protection.
