1. I have been immersed in your generosity since my youth
And the abode of my clan thrives in contentment

2. Songs of praise for you and for your ancestors
Are recited to you, printed openly

3. The courageous, formidable hero
The one helped to victory, the chosen Imam Al Murtaza

4. Whoever praises you genuinely
Is truthful and his effort appreciated

5. How can I fully describe your sublime traits?
Glory is but poetry, all too brief

6. If I attempt to eulogize you I fall short
Though my poems be strung pearls scattered about

7. Yet still I come to you seeking pardon
For abbreviating your praises, and you are most forgiving

8. O sovereign of all sovereigns, you are our guardian
So forgive us, to you we turn for help

9. You have stunned me, confused my thoughts
Yet still eloquent when discussing what I see

10. Show kindness to your poet whom you have favored
O my champion, none but you defend me

11. So I must offer you songs of praise
That bring you joy and delight when they reach you

12. Still you rise above the regiments triumphant
Climbing the steps of fortune, no misfortunes can diminish you

13. If you desire something it happens swiftly
If not, what is willed comes to pass

14. And wondrously you spend such wealth
That cannot be counted or measured

15. I know not what more to say in praise
Though my heart be brimming with poetry

16. All things, though long gone
Still cycle back toward you

17. Glorious is He who shaped you,
Our throats cannot contain all that our chests hide

18. You left the misguided thundering in loss
With the sharp blade of justice none can resist

19. You are the righteous king, but your hand
Wields the sword over the new moon's curve

20. How many destitute have found relief in your shadow
And risen from the depths of poverty?

21. I thank you, remembering while I live
For the noble soul is ever thankful

22. Endure on high! Live on! Be joyful still!
And prosper always with gladness in your heart
