1. O sons of Mus'ab, you are the first in knowledge and guidance
And your ancestors were honourable men of old

2. They were people of virtue and dignity in the lands
Bowed down and standing in prayer through the dark of night

3. They are the party of Allah, truly, and they
Pray and remember always, standing through the night

4. They upheld Allah's religion and held fast to it
Blessed are they, their place is the Abode of Peace

5. Whoever among them followed the Prophetic way
Whoever loved them, reproach cannot touch him

6. As for the face of him who reviles the family of Jurayj
Even if he is close kin, with many ties and relations

7. If my life is prolonged, I must pay them a visit
And if the next life comes, I have no regrets

When the brothers are mentioned, he is not forgotten

9. He has performed seventy Pilgrimages
A year less, and a year more, in the count

10. I praise and thank and extol you
Noble and commoner among us they are

11. We pray for your victory and justice at dawn
Until drowsiness overtakes us in sleep

12. The weapon of the faithful is their prayer
When night falls dark upon them

13. Your memory remains clasped to our hearts
Until we are buried under earth and pebbles

14. In the year seven hundred plus one hundred
Past, with prosperity - upon them peace!
