1. Today I have passed
Seventy years in number

2. And however much a person passes
Many years, he has lost

3. Do not be surprised at the custom
Of the world if the time is long

4. I congratulated you on the feast
Its habits still come

5. I must make a visit
With which the embers of yearning are extinguished

6. And upon the elders our greetings
Envelop them for all time

7. Then prayers upon the prophet
Al-Ariha the trusted
